The name you choose will be present on all of your stationary, documentation and will be marketed via many media channels, so here’s a list of things to consider when naming your business:
 
  • Ensure it can be easily spelt
  • It is memorable
  • It is not long and complicated
  • There is a domain name available for your company name
  • Ensure it has not already been registered by another compan
  • It can compete on a global scale (it has to make sense and not be specific to one location)
  • Ensure name can be registered and secured on social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter etc) before others can register it
